Resolving the concern of teaching field in England
Over the past few weeks, it has been reported that thousands of teachers in England had went across the street for a national teachers strike due to the grievances concerning in their field of teaching. In which, there welfare as a teacher and employee had not been catered well such as their compensation rate and privileges. For there are some schools especially public educational learning institutes who didn’t give much attention to the teachers welfare such as not giving the exact teachers compensation rate the law requires and there are some privileges are not been distributed equally which means that there are only few teachers who have receive such privileges. Having these situations, it leads the national teachers union to conduct a massive national strike all throughout England which leads to the closure to most of the schools. Since, most of the teachers have participated said event.
Although, the national strike had already been finished and the concerns of some teachers in their field of profession had already been address but still there are some concerns that have arise such as the decrease of young learners in teaching profession. In which, it has been observe that only few young individuals who have pursued a teaching profession. This was based on the population rate of the students who get an education program course in teaching field. Since, it has been observe that there is a great decrease of the number of learners in the teaching course program compare to the past years. It has been found out that the result of this declination of student teachers is due to the high educational expenditure rate of the teaching course and some young individuals are discourage to pursue this teaching field because of the lower compensation rate that will be given to the trainee teachers which is not enough for their personal necessities.
In line with that concern, the government has allowed to earn a degree online upon learning to become a teacher in order to cut down the cost rate and to give chance to the individuals who haven’t enough financial resources to forego a teaching course program. As well, the government had encouraged the different school administrators to increase the rate of compensation or allowance to the trainee teachers in their institutions. With this case, the government is very much hopeful that the teaching field concern will be resolve.
