Annual Celebration of Teacher Appreciation Day
Yes, Teacher Appreciation Day is indeed celebrated annually. In fact, most countries celebrate this event just to pay tribute to teachers. It is not a holiday, but most schools who respond to this event usually have half day classes and spend the rest of the day giving honor to teachers.
Teachers do deserve to have their day. With all their hard work, effort, and time spent to teach and equip their students, I really think they do. Some pessimists may contradict this event, why this day was invented for them on the first place. But they can protest all they want, but teachers will still be honored with flying colors as all their labor was counted.
Teacher’s Day is celebrated in various dates, actually, depending on the country. Last teacher appreciation day 2011, our country celebrated this day on October 5. What is the date your country celebrates this special day for teachers?
