Teaching profession is the mere career that sanctions to provide students the accredited and authorized education. Hence, teachers for certain are essential for the contribution in our existence to make it right, prosperous, and progressive. There are many famous teachers in the world who stand with dignity, aiming to tender a committed quality education to their students despite the fact of sometimes lack of support from the government.
Out of so many instances of her parenting life and teaching life, in both beautiful and bleak situations, a teacher from Brooklyn with her daughter have encountered a case when her daughter started her pre-kindergarten in the nearby public school. There surrounding has no-good influence for her child; in fact, being a high school teacher she was warned by her students not to send her child in that school, in which she thought is constructive for her daughter because it is well-funded, high-performing, and a safe.
Therefore, this teacher discovers the, constant discrepancy when she was taught about the Title I, poorly funded for more than a decade, where parents of students are obnoxious. One day in December, one of the parents in the class e-mailed other parents including her asking for donations for holiday presents for the leading and assistant teacher. That was a good idea but the action is in opposition to the regulation of the Department of Education which is to give teachers cash.
The collector of the cash asked for the exact amount to give and when to offer the money, as well as card and more. Due to this, the teacher was discontented, especially when she knew about the cash collected of totaled more hundreds of dollars.
In her whole period of teaching career, she received 2 gifts from students, but the leading and assistant teacher received a great amount of money during National Teacher Appreciation Week with a big question on her mind.
But then, when she attended the National Teacher Appreciation Week celebration of her pre-kindergarten daughter, she was surprised knowing the reason why the parents collected that money, it was because teachers make inadequate salaries weighing up to other professionals with similar level of education to teachers have good rate of salaries.
Now she know that the intention of the contribution asked from them is to give an earnest thankfulness to the teachers who proffer good teaching and learning to their children without minding their lame salary.
