Since they are highest paid in America many teachers in Asia are also very eager to work abroad as teachers in the US. They know they would be paid in dollars and they would earn big. They have also many benefits aside from their regular salaries. In the contrary, in many third world countries public school teachers have been protesting for very low pay. The teachers have organized themselves in many developing countries and they’ve been airing their grievances to the national leadership.
• Teachers are given much recognition – The teachers in the US are given much recognition as compared to teachers in third world countries. The recognition the teachers receive give them more encouragement to continue their mission of making the youth responsible citizens of the country to contribute to nation building. The National Teachers Day passed by the senate is a real manifestation of the support to the noble causes of thousands of teachers in America.
