The Catholic schools appreciation celebration

BooksReligious schools had already part and acceptable in the society especially in the United States. This religious school provides venues for the learners to excel in their academic learning, theological approach about their religion and extracurricular activities that will shape their life as good individuals in the church and society. One of the religious schools that commonly and oldest that existed here in the United States is the Catholic Schools. The Catholic campus schools, universities and catholic boarding schools have win a greater space and enrollees in the country due to its quality of education and several followers in accordance to their faith.

In the Diocese of Pittsburgh, they will be celebrating a Catholic Schools week starting this January 25 up 31, 2009. This celebration will highlight the theme that entitled “Catholic Schools: Building the Future”. Since, these Catholic Schools here in Pittsburg have already existed for about 180 years and got an enormous accomplishment in providing quality of academic educational services and religious views or theological approach to its learners. Part also of this celebration was also to conduct a teacher’s appreciation week for the teachers of these Catholic Schools who contributed much to provide enormous educational services towards to their students. Since, without the perseverance of the teachers in following the mission of the school administration there will be no progress for the quality of education programs that been set by the schools. Both the teachers and school administrators are hand in hand supporting the learners to build a greater future for their self, to their society and to the church that they serve. According to Rev. Fr. Kris D. Stubna who is the Diocesan Secretary for Catholic Education, he stated that this Catholic Schools celebration provides a greater venue for both the administrators and teachers be appreciated for the things that they have done in order to fulfill the mission of the general mission of the Catholic schools both local and national in the country.

The Catholic schools in the country had common aim which are to provide a the young catholic individuals an excellent academic continuing education through all level of learning, a faith centered educational approach from the church, and a process of educational learning program that will form the whole person as a good individuals in the society and church.
