Teacher appreciation idea in NCHS
There are many ways to make our teachers feel they are always in our hearts because without them we would not be able to acquire the knowledge that we have now. Truly, teachers play big roles in the development of the children in many schools world wide. Had it not for their dedication and commitment we would have an illiterate society.
In Natrona County High School, students paid tribute to their beloved teachers by hosting a sumptuous lunch. This is amazing because seldom that it happened. In this case the members of the National Honor Society as well as the student council hosted the so-called teacher appreciation lunch. This activity is done to honor the educators who have dedication to serve the people in the communities and educate them to the best of their abilities.
Emma Watson said it was a way of saying “thank you†to the worthwhile contribution of educators in the country and for the hard work they have committed. Whitney Stack also reiterated her thanks to the teachers, saying that what they have contributed to society is really very commendable. They always devote most of their time everyday just to educate the young minds and make them responsible citizens of the country.
During the lunch, there was also a student orchestra that performed and added highlights to the activity. The students also tendered artwork as well as handed out raffle prizes to the teachers which also made the activity very lively. The teachers also receive school supplies and clothing from the University of Wyoming. In fact, the teachers didn’t expect a luncheon to happen. They were all praises for the host of the activity which made them ponder that there still many kind-hearted students who valued their contribution to society.
April Hicks, a teacher at Natrona County said she was very impressed with the activity and hope it would continue in the coming years to give inspiration to dedicated and service-oriented teachers.
Vaness Hult, also a teacher at Functional Life Skills thanked the efforts of the sponsoring organization which made the activity very successful. “The lunch would always remind us how we were appreciated by our students,†she concluded.
