Teacher Appreciation Week 2009 Message of Thanks

A top-ranking official of the Farmington Middle School thanked the school staff for their great contribution to the school.

FMSW principal, Malie Lee, said since the week of May 3 up to May 9, this year, is considered National Teacher Appreciation Week, is also a fitting time to recognize the great contribution of many teachers who dedicate their lives to teaching.

Lee said he would like to take the teacher appreciation week as an opportunity to publicly thank the school staff for the wonderful work they do to the school’s students and for believing that the students will learn more provided that there is good environment for learning.

He said the teachers in Farmington Middle School has accomplished a very exceptional task this year by dedicating themselves to actively raising the morale of students enrolled in the school this year. He said that during the celebration of Teacher Appreciation Day 2009 he is encouraging parents, students and guardians as well as the whole Farmington community to pay their respects to the teachers as well as to take a time to reflect on the most valuable things they have achieved everyday in school.

The principal also underscored two things to appreciate the teacher’s efforts:

  1. Believe in their capacity to educate our children. It was learned from the school principal that parents should believe in the capacity of educators because they are properly trained to become one. This means they are schooled and properly trained to handle all situations in the school.

  2. Support on their needs in school to provide quality education. The teachers can always provide quality education in the school. They only want support from school administrators. The quality of education that parents always wanted cannot be given by the teachers alone but with the able support of the school they are serving. The implementation of complete laboratories is included in the so-called quality of education and not only from theories which maybe learned from educators.
