Supporting the teachers in developing its career
During teacher’s celebration such as teacher’s appreciation day or week and teachers day, it has been a tradition in the United States that parents or learners will usually offer something or a gift to their beloved educators. Through the presence of these gifts, learners have showed their grateful appreciation and thanksgiving to their educators for helping them to become a successful individual by nourishing their young minds with knowledge and skills that will help them support themselves in order to have a quality living with a good relationship to their people. In addition, it has been observe that teachers or educators who have receive an appreciation gift coming from their learners have motivated them to develop their teaching career all the more and change more lives.
Although, giving gifts to the teachers or educators are the usual tradition that have been practice in the United States during teachers celebration such as teachers appreciation week or day that will usually fall in the month of May every year. But, the Onalaska Foundation for Educational Excellence had adapted another style of celebrating and acknowledging the teachers celebration such as teachers appreciation week or day. The Onalaska Foundation for Educational Excellence school administrator encourages the learners and parents to give a money donation to the teachers in that school rather than a material gift. This money donation fund will be use for the teacher’s career development. In which, the money that will gather will be use as a source for giving out some grants or scholarship program to the teachers in their school who wants to obtain a higher educational learning such as masters degree or doctorate educational learning phase in order to enhance their teaching field and give a quality of educational training to the lots of learners who will be enrolling their school.
Indeed, the money donation system of the Onalaska Foundation for Educational Excellence will be a great in developing the educational system of the nation. In which, it enables to support the teachers or educators for an advance career in the teaching and it also helps the young learners to attain a quality education.
