McDonald’s supports teacher appreciation day

As a way to show its support to teachers and all schools workers, the leading food service company offered a free breakfast on its restaurants located in Greenville, Spartanburg and Asheville areas to educational staff during teachers day.
Teachers and educators could get a free breakfast sandwich and a small McCafe coffee on Wednesday August 25 showing a valid school ID from 6.30 am till 10.30 in the morning.
McDonald’s hosted this teachers appreciation promotion as a part of their 365 days a year commitment to education. Julia Skipper , a McDonald’s operator in a restaurant located in Laurens County, said -This small gesture is our way of saying ˜thanks’ to educators for giving our children and communities their best every day.
In addition to local promotions like this one, the food service company sponsors and supports several school, community and educational events all around the States.
It is not only about Schools and educational communities, McDonald’s workers can access a unique scholarship program to get started at college education as well as -Hamburger University, a program that offers graduates a management curriculum a teaches in a total of 28 languages.
Big companies like McDonald’s showing its support to school communities is always a good way to teach children how important it is the work that teachers and educators do everyday during their working life and why students must show their appreciation to them.
