Materials needed:
• Silk thread
• Four crimp beads
• Beading needle
• Beads
• Spacers
• Charm
• Needle nose pliers
• A ruler to measure
1. Take the silk thread and cut it into 12 inches length. Then thread the beading needle, rope it in series on a charm and crimp bead. Form a ring around the charm and fold twice through the crimp bead. Make sure to pull tight so that the charm is secure.
2. Break the crimp using the needle nose pliers. In order to hold the beads to won’t fall through, thread beading needle taking place the other end.
3. You can make creative ways by adding some other beads to form any pattern you want.
4. Bead estimated 1 inch to over 1 1/2 inches. Insert another crimp bead then slip it down until to the last bead, pull it tight, and break it in order to hold the beads to secure in place.
5. Ensure to estimate the length of your desired bookmark to have the beads tumble to the book’s top part and to the bottom. Slide an additional crimp bead on the thread and make sure to crimp it in the position you want.
6. Leave enough space of the thread in between every end to hang up the beads and to make open space you need.
You can continue the threading of the beads in a pattern you like, and you can also add other shapes and colors of beads you like.
