3 Steps to overcome Teacher Appreciation shyness
Friday, September 28th, 2012How often do you tell to your teachers how much you appreciate them? This should be often and not only because teachers appreciation week. As well, if you express the appreciation to your teachers, doest it falls upon earnest? It must be! Because their effort is not as simple as you thought.
If you struggle in the last years to express say the word “thank you teacher”, the teacher appreciation day 2012 is your time to make it come true. Remember that teachers aim to meet and get their tasks done just for the class concern, so don’t forget to return through positive greeting of what they have done in class.
To feel the “appreciation” needs sincerity, if you don’t feel it, take these 3 steps below to help you practice how to express the most honest appreciation:
First step: Take a few minutes everyday. Notice your teachers effort and smile at it. Picture out what the world would be like if there’s absence of teachers- is it possibly like today, it is progressive and people are shunned from ignorance? Take a deep breath then simply tell yourself with heart: Thank you for their existence.
Second step: Try to express your true appreciation to the world. Let your teachers know it by teacher appreciation poem that you yourself compose, or get some ideas here:
You are my teacher
Who helps me every day.
You scold me when I’m bad
And help me find a way.
Thanks so much for all the things you did for me,
for teaching me new useful things.
Because of you, I wouldn’t be here today
Learning and earning great thing in the world-knowledge.
Third step: If you are really shy to do show your appreciation, try to work it out during the teacher appreciation day 2012. Typically, students and parents are giving gifts to teachers. They come to unite to honor the teachers they admire. So get involve with your classmates so you will overcome your shyness.
