Students are going to imitate their favorite teacher’s way of teaching that’s not offensive on the other way at least. It is fun to show them how they ratify their way of speech, their facial expressions, and more that a students have observed. What’s good about this mimicry of teachers is the good way of shaping a comic part of the celebration. For sure, while students are busy performing upstage, teachers will take pleasure watching them happily.

Songs – the most typical yet the best ways of all activities. Listening in a song from a talented singer in a singing contest, or from a group of singers, bargaining of prizes is fun.

When a teacher felt that she/ he is particularly appreciated by the students, parents, colleagues, or the school principal, this means that her/ his effort is acknowledge, which in fact can give them encouragement to keep up their good work.

To thank them is more than enough to motivate them. Teacher appreciation week is like a support of recognizing their work. Kathy is also a parent and she asks her child’s teacher what she’d like the most to have for the classroom. As a complement during teacher appreciation week 2011 she delivers a cookie basket and fruits to the teacher’s lounge.

Inspirational Story for Teachers and Students

Friday, February 24th, 2012

To appreciate a teacher does not always count during teacher appreciation day, rather, the appreciation is anytime of the day and all through the year. It doesn’t matter if it is only an ordinary day, as long as you like to show how much you care for your teacher it is meaningful if you express it all the time.

Read the inspirational story below from a teacher who really appreciated what her 2 students had did to her though not exactly on the date of teachers day, she stated-

The greatest gift she received ever as a teacher was not on a special day of the year, nor during teacher appreciation day, and that best gift she received was from her 2 students named Ryan and John.

That period was winter season; the teacher said she had no enough sleep the night before, because she was suffering from flu. For that reason, the teacher did not feel if she could call for a sub in. So, she was suffering from that day, but she was still trying to cope up everything and trying hard to not make a lot of a fuss, yet she’s really feeling terrible.

After the 10-minute break of the students, the teacher called out Ryan and John but they were not present apparently that day; actually that was seemed odd, because the 2 students had been present for the class before. The teacher started her class after ten minutes they had started, Ryan and John had strolled in, huge smiles on their faces with a mega-sized muffin and a huge cup coffee.

Before the teacher had a chance to reprimand the 2 boys for being late, they place the muffin and the coffee down on the teacher’s desk, and said to the teacher, “Teacher, this is for you. We knew that you were not feeling well.” The concern and care that the teacher received from the 2 boys made her felt like torn between whether admire them for being so sympathetic or to penalize them for being late. Although they have broken the policy, the present they gave and being thoughtful at the same time was just one of the great moments she encountered in teaching that she actually sincerely treasured.

Wasn’t the story truly inspirational? Teachers are also humans who also need sympathy from their students especially when they have problems or they are sick. If you are too late to show your appreciation to your teacher last teacher appreciation day 2011, as what have been told in the story, there’s no special days to tell them ‘Thank You.”
