Building Educational Bonds

Appreciating the teachers does not only happen during the designated teacher events especially teachers appreciation celebration but can also be express or be done even in ordinary days through simple aspects just like what the traditional system in Parkview Montessori Magnet School especially the seventh and eight graders students. In which, before their classes will formally start for about 30 minutes their students are allowed to shared different stories and appreciation to one another especially to their teachers. This unique and inspiring educational system had already been practice for several years and it already been observe that it provides a good result for educational learning growth of its students. According to Peggy Smith who is one of the educators of this Parkview Montessori Magnet School that this time of sharing stories and showing appreciation to one another provides a venue of knowing each other better that eventually support for team building as working together towards learning progress.

For nine years, Peggy Smith become a teacher and based on her experience these aspects will strongly support its students hone towards gaining a public speaking skills that will catch up its existing events and even building a stronger community. Since, it shown in several research studies that the students internal clock are not yet awake until it was after 9am. Last week, Smith discusses about dealing on towards its personal issues with the usage of terms that is ally and ogre. Smith stated that this ogre or ally can be both internal aspects and external. As a result, there is a need to say positive aspects towards ourselves in order to give itself some graces. Smith continually worked on encouraging its students of becoming serious for developing themselves especially organizational skills and for improvement of student community resources. Smith is enjoying seeing that its students have increases on its self esteem.

This Parkview Montessori Magnet School is considered as a pre-K through its eight grades educational learning institutes. Three years that passed, this Jackson-Madison County School Board have already approve on upon the addition of this seventh and eighth grade classes to their institution. As of now, Smith continually encourages its students to actively participate the different education program activities that include the Project Citizen and We The People competitions within the year. These Project Citizen is a program that been known that challenges the students to come up improving their community. Aside of that, it would also be a good support to challenge themselves towards physical, mentally and giving out its services.

The Support of PTA Towards Teacher Appreciation

BooksAs of now, Demopolis Elementary Schools Parent Teacher Association is now its membership drive and is looking over parents in order to join this educational learning assistance organization. Pam McKinley who is the PTA president stated that there are several aspects that this PTA can support towards campus schools. In which, this aspects are easily can be seen and several aspects that are not easily be seen. She also stated that they are also supporting the educators especially during this Teacher Appreciation Week activities or programs that include providing book fair prizes. Aside of that, the PTA association will be making some copies towards their teachers program. There are several aspects behind this scene of things that we don’t exactly know about the PTA but actually it’s the PTA. As a result, we do need lots of work function that must be done and with that every child will benefit on it. Mckinley state that there are several parents that needs to become part in this PTA in order to support them doing their projects.

They have said that the more the parent will be involve on this job function, the more this children will be able to work this things out, and that’s with this straight-A learner and towards the special needs of their learner from just one extreme aspect to the other. In other words, the more parents will be actively participating to the schools activities of their children or to their children’s educators especially Teacher Appreciation Day, teacher’s day and some other events that are related to teacher’s celebration will entirely be supporting their children to become successful and as well support the teachers towards their career development. This PTA membership fee is only $5 for just one child or about $10 to its family and no matter how many children they got. Last year, this Demopolis Elementary PTA got about 268 members that include every teacher for both campus schools.

Mckinley stated that half of this money will be staying over this Demopolis PTA and half entirely goes towards this state PTA. With that, the benefits of this state PTA will provide some guidelines, insurance, beneficial information, supporting the fund raisers and so on. Last Monday was the first PTA meeting that been held of this academic school year of this U.S. Jones Elementary educational learning institute cafeteria.

The Discovery Center in Springfield

In Discovery Center in Springfield, it got several activities that been scheduled in the month of September that includes monthly efforts of collecting educational supplies for Salvation Army and those visitors that will be bringing a packaged educational supply are provided a discounted admission. Since, the Salvation Army will be providing educational supplies for the public schools in the southwest portion of Missouri. Aside of that, the Discovery Center in Springfield includes the Star Party of its teacher appreciation. Since, the Salvation Army already provides educational supplies of public campus schools in the area portion in southwest Missouri. In September 7 to 11, the Discovery Center will be entirely closed but this week break will entirely conclude the Teacher Appreciation Day in 4 to 7 pm in Sept. 11. The entire educators will be admitted freely in this Discovery Center in order to just roam around without its school children and just be able to plan out their next field trip and its additional guest admission is only $5.

Its been scheduled also that the Grandparents Day will be 1-5pm in Sept. 13, 2009 when the admission price of this grandparents and their senior citizen is only $3. So, for those individuals who will be signing up grandparent membership on that day will now be able to receive a $5 off for their membership price. On the upcoming Sept 18, this Discovery Center will now be filled with several younger crowd of this Science Sprouts in the Museum Day. This topic will now be the tornadoes of thier early childhood learners that is up to the age of 6 only. With that, throughout this day there will be now a special free science presentation with a science story time that will geared towards the young learners. Since, the groups will now be able to schedule a 30 minute educational programs for some additional fee on it. As a result, the groups are encouraged to do some pre register towards a group rate only.

With that, the Discovery Science Club will now be able to meet in 10am until this Sept 19. Since, this group was entirely been designed for both parents and its children in order to join their educational learning team. The main topic in this upcoming September will be Flights of Fancy. Since, the group is entirely design for the children those ages 6 until 12 with its accompanying parent. With that, the club members will now learn about new sciences education and be able to build a project for two or just be able to get to see the aspect behind its scenes in the areas of its museums or some special equipment or more. With that, the pre-registration and pre-payment entirely required a cost of $20 for its member parent and child and $25 per non member parent or child. With that, everyone are invited to this Star Party that is 5 to 8 pm in Sept 25 as this Discovery Center and Springfield Astronomical Society will now be continuing of celebrating their International Year of Astronomy in 2009. Since, this Discovery Center will want that the 150,000 individuals will be able to look into the world through this telescope. The Star Party in the patio was already been sponsored by this Jon Morse of Merrill Lynch and its admission entirely applies of the insider of this museum. Meanwhile, the scheduled of this SkySchool will be in Sept. 25 to 27. Since, this variety of three day will be use for the student community resources learning experiences in order to designed and be able to support both educators and learners explore science astronomy topics, and resourceful content. With that pre-registration and its pre-payment are entirely required. Its been considered that this Discovery Center in Springfield is entirely an hands on interactive science center that been located in 438 E of St. Louis St that is entirely located in the downtown of Springfield. With that, the Discovery Center will be open 9 am to 5pm especially in Tuesday until Thursday, while 9 am to 8pm in Friday and 10am to 5pm in Saturday. Meanwhile, 1-5pm in Sunday. The admission is entirely free for its members and those children that are under 2. Since, the non members will be paying about $9 for their adults, 7$ for children that ages 3 to 15 and $8 for the seniors.
