Teacher Appreciation BanquetThe crisis in the United States does not stop parents from continuing their efforts to recognize the important contributions of many teachers in America. They have high regards on teachers and they always see to it they are recognizing the educator’s efforts in schools to make students learn many things in life as well as of becoming a good citizen of the country.

This time the parents in Scotts Valley redecorated Baymont Christian School teacher’s lounge. This is their way of appreciating the efforts of many teachers. The parents not only donated their hard-earned cash money but as well as their time to make the redecoration worth the efforts of many parents.

The teachers in the Scotts Valley in California are a picture of dedication and commitment according to some teachers who were responsible in the redecoration of the lounge. They said the efforts of teachers in making the youths of today become responsible citizens in the country is un-comparable. Though they maybe have real problems at home but because they are very professional they could still carry the job.

Parent David Teigen said the teacher appreciation week is one great activity wherein both parents and students could have the fitting time to give thanks and appreciate what they’ve done in many schools worldwide. Teachers not only teach them the lessons but for cash-trapped students they would also discuss how to submit a PAFSA application if the students want to avail of the student loan program of the federal as well as the private sector. He said redecorating the teacher’s lounge is very commendable for those parents responsible for its realization.

He said the teachers are fully committed to do the job and deliver the expertise even though at home they also have some problems. “Teacher appreciation week” is really a fitting tribute to recognize the efforts made by many teachers of the world.”

Especially, if their teachers have done an evident contribution in the eyes of their learners that they will never forget. Just like Mrs. Judith Boston who serves as a homeroom English teacher for the past two Years in New Bedford High School at Florida. As way of teaching her student, she got a rule of her own and that is the acceptance of her students as who they are. She was so transparent in accepting the attitudes of its learners as who they are, where they came from, what they can do or their potentials in life, and the aspects that they wanted to do and become as being an individuals.

Although, she provide an equal treatment and absolute freedom to her learners but still she keep on uplifting and inspiring them to continually do their best in terms of academic performance in order to become more efficient learners and attain a higher grades and become successful individuals someday. Mrs. Bolton is a kind of teacher who listens to the needs of its learners. As a result, she wins the favor of its learners. Since, she does not only teach them English subject but as well respect. With that, several learners who have studied in these Campus schools of New Bed Bedford High School continually give out their appreciation to this mentor. Although, she is quite authoritative mentor but still she holds to expand the bond of friendless to its learners. As a result, most of the year she receive appreciation letters or thank you gift cards that sincerely comes from their learners.

The way of teaching that Mrs. Bolton provided, mostly brings out the best of the life of their learners not just to support them to become better persons but as well to become successful individuals upholding the dignity and virtues that they have learned from their teacher in one of public schools in Florida and that was the New Bedford High School.

A high school teacher has received a commendation for her continued conduct of classes on a makeshift classroom after their school was hit by floods and has been closed for eight weeks.

Teacher Shana Thomas of the Gemini Junior High School in Niles received said commendation because of her commitment to education. The flood also resulted to the discovery of asbestos. This needed to be removed and Teacher Shana had to move her classroom to a new location to continue her classes as students are eager to learn more knowledge.

Educational publisher of Northpoint Horizons during its first annual celebration for teachers chose Shana among the 1,400 educators. The nationwide search is really exciting considering the number of participants. This also means a good encouragement for educators to do their best when it comes to education because they are now recognized in many aspects of their accomplishments.

During the awarding ceremony held during the First Annual Teacher Appreciation Day, Thomas said she was glad to be chosen. She said amidst the terrible flood she didn’t expect an award would also happen to her to receive such an award.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher received a gift basket and a $500 American Express gift check for her to be able to purchase classroom materials. Thomas said she would purchase it for equipment in the science laboratory.

Linda Schilling, spokesperson for Northpoint Horizons said Thomas was luckily chosen because of her efforts to successfully overcome adversity. Part of the screening process was the submission of CV resume so that their previous accomplishments are also noted by the screening committee.
Schilling said Shana is one of the wonderful teachers who had successfully overcome challenges because she is committed to education. She had successfully fought the obstacles brought by the flood.

This year’s teacher appreciation day is aimed at highlighting the contribution of teachers who have become heroes because of their total commitment to education.

In this way, they will have time to add more research about their topic the next day. It’s just a matter of being organized that teachers would be able to accomplish more and put quality on their operations in the classrooms. The best way also to jumpstart teachers’ lesson plans. You can also prepare ahead the school supplies that you need if you are a teacher. Another thing is to list what you assign to the children’s particular duties according to frequency.
