As teachers played an important role in the lives of the learners and in the educational learning system in the country, there are some concerns that have arises. This concern primarily focuses on the qualification standards of becoming a teacher or future mentor of the next generation. Since, it is in the hands of the teachers that the status of education program in the country will progress. In which, the goal of no child left behind uneducated will be attained. This goal that been set was the general law that being implemented by the Bush administration. Even though, there are several schools whether online or campus setting but it can’t be denied that the teachers provides a greater impact and influence to the educational growth of the learners. In that case, it’s very much important that the teachers or educators must undergo quality training so that they can perform their tasks well in providing educational services.

It can be noted that there were several individuals who aspire to become a teacher or educator. As of now, thousands of trainee teachers take their training for its final completion or transition from a trainee to become real teachers or educators for the services of lots learners in the country. But, it had been found out in the training period that there about thousands of teachers that were struggling to pass the literacy tests which requires them to spell words such as anxiety, interpreting mathematical figures and being relived or flexible to the different field. At this point of time, it had been noted that there were more than 11,000 trainee teachers which is over the quarter that have an annual intake that have failed to pass the literacy test. This case is quite a concern due to the fact that this trainee teachers will soon become real teachers and practiced their profession and in that case, if they keep on failing on the basic qualification that a teacher should posses they will be a greater possibility that they can’t provide a quality educational learning especially in the field of career education or any other level of education.

One big support that students of the world can lobby is to increase the salaries of teachers because this is one of the reasons why quality of education in many schools world wide also suffered in alarming scale. The low morale of teachers in many schools is because they cannot help their family’s problem of lack of funds to support their daily needs. The students all over the world can unite and lobby the UN to help the plight of teachers, especially in third world countries.

Here are the things which might happen when the teacher’s salaries and benefits are increased.

1. Concentrated teaching ” Since they are contented with their salaries and other benefits we can expect them to concentrate their time in classrooms so that they can impart the knowledge very diligently. They have no worries their children are hungry in their homes while they are also teaching and many other concerns.

2. No more moonlighting ” We can expect that teachers would no longer find other jobs to sustain their daily needs as well as they can also send their children in good schools. The worries of the teachers who only receive low salaries are the main cause of their absences in classes because they need to look for money to augment the needs of their school children.

3. They become more diligent ” Since they have no more worries in their homes they can think well and prepare better lesson plans for the next day’s class discussion. This simply means they have more time to research and prepare their lesson plans and even prepare visual aids to support their discussion.

4. They have more time ” The regular number of hours in teaching for one year can be achieved, thus the quality of education is also very possible. Unlike when they have more problems when they are forced to take leave of absences to help their family first, instead of staying in classrooms to impart more knowledge. A day that a teacher takes a leave of absence is already a knowledge lost to school children.

There are now teachers associations worldwide created to lobby for new legislations benefiting teachers as far as laws and legislations, salary increases, educational systems and other things needed by the educators to improve the quality of life as well as the quality of education among teachers. Students and parents and school administrators should also play important part to make teachers aspirations a dream come true.

Along this line, teacher associations worldwide should do the following so that there should be proper coordination.

• Teachers associations worldwide should strengthen in their organizations and call for national and international conventions. This is the best venue if they want to implement what they want to happen to improve their teachings, quality of education in schools as well as their living condition. For the moment, there are no organizations of teachers that become lobbyists of good projects for school teachers.

• Teachers associations should start lobbying for laws and legislations they think can greatly help improve the quality of education. They are the right persons and they know exactly what they want and what is still lacking to be able to improve operations in schools.

• Teachers associations should also lobby for proper guidelines and regulations for both international students and online education schools. Right now many students are not yet aware what to do so that they will be protected against those unscrupulous online schools which do not have credentials yet.

• The teachers associations should create a venue where they can contribute what they think are proper and necessary. Their contributions if it helps other schools then would be shared by anyone. Sharing of information nowadays is already normal in the worldwide web. Like for example, in nursing education programs, there should be a venue for teachers in nursing education where they can share important ideas which can be reciprocated by other schools. There would be proper sharing of information if there are venue for this worldwide.

As the teachers had become the prime mover of educational growth of its learners, all the more the teachers are given much important. Here in the United States, teachers appreciation events were usually been celebrated in order to give acknowledgment to the teachers in the country. With that act of acknowledging them through teacher’s appreciation, it helps them to be more motivated in doing their tasks in giving out quality educational services to its learners. Usually, teacher’s appreciations were being celebrated at the month of May but there were cases that a certain school will be celebrating a special teacher’s appreciation in order to give a special acknowledgement or honor for the teachers who have accomplished very special tasks.

Just recently, a teacher’s appreciation had occurred in New York City with the permission of the New York City Department of Education. The special celebration of teachers appreciation that been organized for all teachers or professors in New York City whether teachers in school campuses and those teachers who are teaching online degree in the different online schools in the country. This special celebration of the teachers have conducted in order to further give acknowledgment to the teachers who really done a quality educational services to their learners. Since, it had been found out that there several teachers were doing well in providing teaching services to their learners through measuring the performance of their learners based on the students standardized test scores. In which, the thousands of learners in New York City from elementary to middle schools undergone to the said students standardized test scores and several students got a good score in the test. In that case, the New York Department of Education was very much glad for its outcome. Since, the standardized test covered the two major aspect or field of study which are the Math, English, Science and Computer subjects. Aside of the good results of most students who took the standardized test which provides a good reputation of the teacher’s performance but still the different principals or school administrators is also doing individual evaluation to their teachers and checked out if they really have done their teaching career jobs.
