promises to be another big national event for this year. This teacher appreciation day
in this country holds importance for educators since this is the foundation day of the teacherís society in 1932. Venezuela is one the largest countries in South America having a total population of over 28 million according to the February 2008 census. As a big country with huge population millions of students could really add glamour to this national teacherís day celebration
The following are the usual activities in this country during teacher appreciation day. Some of those lined up are traditional activities

Majority of the thousands of schools across the country would always participate when this day comes. In fact, the national teacherís day
is becoming so popular nowadays. The usual activities in schools include dances, songs, dramatization, comical skits and all other forms of entertainments. During lunch time school administrators treat teachers to sumptuous lunches.
As usual the flooding of love cards to thousands of school across the country also happened and teachers are very pleased with development. They said although personalized love cards is not new anymore but said they would always love to read messages from the students, as this would also add to boost their morals as movers of the youth. Since the familyís living condition in said country is high many students can afford t buy expensive love cards and teachers would also love to keep them as a memoir .
Big universities and colleges in Venezuela are holding their teacherís day
in hotels because they can afford to finance the cost. Teachers would be excited since many food offers would take place once they got the nod of government leaders. The best cuisine in the country inspired by Spanish culinary art can be found in this kind of party celebrations in hotels and some class restaurants. There is also the so-called finale of the event which is the awarding ceremonies for most outstanding teachers.
